MEET THE COACHES for our 2024 season
We are extremely proud of the coaches we have, and the various levels of experience that they bring to our club. Our athletes have the advantage of learning from the best coaches in the area, and we appreciate the commitment that each coach shows to our teams. Our coaches are all volunteers that commit their time to our athletes because they share the love of the game!
I’m Sierra and this will be my fourth year coaching for Riot. I have played volleyball for 8 years and played for Riot for 4 seasons. I’ve assisted coach for the last 3 years and this year I’m head coaching the U16 team with Riot. The best thing about coaching is working with the players and seeing their improvement throughout the year.
Hi, I'm Gabi! I've been playing volleyball for 8 years and have played with Riot from 2018-2021. This will be my 2nd year assistant coaching. I'm currently in my 2nd year of the Bachelor of Fine Arts Acting Program at the University of Alberta and I'm a dance teacher in Calahoo. I'm so lucky to share my passion for volleyball with the girls and help them find a lasting love for the sport!
Hi! My name is Jayden and I will be coaching our U15 team this year! I have played volleyball for 6+ years through Onoway Elementary and High school, and Riot Volleyball. This will be my 3rd year of coaching with Riot. I am also a student at NAIT working on my Bachelors of Business Administration, and work part time in marketing. Volleyball is something that I love and I am excited to share my knowledge and be a part of this program! You may also see me poking around other practices and teams with my camera, as I run the social media sites for Riot!
Hi, I’m Elisa! I will be assistant coaching the U15 team this year. This is my first year assistant coaching and I am so excited to be apart of the team! I played indoor and beach volleyball all through high school and am a former Riot volleyball athlete. I am also a student at the University of Alberta working on my final year in the kinesiology program. I’ve always loved volleyball and am so excited to share that with the team and help the athletes learn and grow!
