2019 Riot 18U Team
Our 18U team this season did an amazing job for some of our veteran players' final club season!
Premier 1 they battled hard and finished in 4th place in Blue Division! One win away from a medal to start the season!
Premier 2 was a tough go with only 7 players able to attend, but they did hold their own and remained in Div 4.
Premier 3 was a bit of a shock as they played strong but then lost their cross-over game and finished in 11th place.
Provincials though is where these girls battled hard and left it all on the court. 5 girls were playing in their final season, and they played amazing all weekend and received the bronze medal in Division 3 for 18U! Volleyball Alberta named the All Star as Tameka Geinger.
2019 Riot 17U Team
Our 17U team was set up more as a recreational team this year, as conflicts made it impossible for them to attend either Premier 2 or Provincials.
Premier 1 they finished strong in 11th place out of 22 teams in Blue Division.
Because they did not attend Premier 2, they were seeded at the bottom of Division 5 for Premier 3, which worked to their advantage as they finished in 2nd place and received a silver medal!
2019 Riot 15U Team
Our 15U team started out the season at Premier 1, finishing in a respectable 13th place in Blue Division!
They just kept getting stronger throughout the whole season, managing to stay in Division 4 (out of 5 Divisions) and finishing in 8th place in Premier 2 and in 9th place in Premier 3.
Provinicials saw them keep their consistency, which shows great growth as a team, finishing again in 8th place in Division 4!
