2016

The Club saw its first expansion this year, as the original team moved up to the 16U age category, and there was enough interest from younger girls in the area to also run a 15U team again. 

 

Coaching the 16U team was again, Corey Lougheed, and Assistant Coach Ivy Drews.  The 16U team had a strong season.  Premier 1 saw them finish in 2nd place of Blue Division, which seeded them into Division 3.  They remained strong in Division 3, and finished out the season in 8th place.

We were able to add to our quality list of coaches and have a second team that entered in the 15U age category, coached by McKenna Schulte, and Assistant Coach Conan McInnes.  With a new group of girls experiencing club volleyball for the first time, the girls played hard, learned a lot, and gained confidence.  They started at Premier 2, and tied for 13th place in Division 4.  Premier 3 was a tough run of games, and they finished in 22nd place.  The team then went to Provincials in Division 5, and finished in 8th place.
