How much does a Riot Volleyball season cost?
We are a non profit Club so all the money collected from the team goes back into the team. Club ball for the 2024 season will be approximately $850-$1,000. Included in the cost are all registration fees, a personalized jersey, team equipment costs, rental of practice space ect. We add all the costs up and divide it between the amount of girls playing on the team. Not included in the fees are athlete transportation and accommodations, food, or any extra activities the team decides to do. Nationals are not included in the current budget, and if your team decides to attend, there will be an additional fee.We strive to make no hidden fees.
When and where are practices held?
For the majority of the season, practices will be held twice a week. The days and times will be determined by the availability of gym space and team needs, along with the coaches. Last years gym availability was Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings, at the Heritage Centre & Elementary school in Onoway.
Who are your coaches?
Are coaches are all volunteers that have played the game in the past and are very passionate about others also learning volleyball. All our coaches have to take coaching courses required by Volleyball Alberta. Check out our teams page for the coaches bios.
